Cancellation Policies

Cancellations by Bcityng

If by major force BCITYNG had to cancel a tour and cannot provide any tour guide, we will try to find a solution with the client to find an agreement.

BCITYNG or the tour guide will contact you ASAP via email or telephone. The guide can contact you from his/her telephone number. 

If we couldn’t find an alternative, the deposit will be fully refunded within 10 working days.

*We reserve the right to cancel a walking tour or a bike tour in case of very bad weather conditions/forecast. We will try to find another time/date in order to find an alternative. If we couldn’t find it, the deposit will be fully refunded.

Cancellations by clients

Any cancellation must be notified by e-mail contacting us at info@bcityng.com , and will be answered by info@bcityng.com .

Weather conditions: Our tours are working with sun, clouds, wind and rain. Bad weather is not a valid reason to cancel a tour.

Circumstances beyond our control: Bcityng is not liable for reduced/cancelled itineraries due to circumstances beyond our control such as flight delays, ships unable to dock for whatever reason, strikes affecting itineraries or unscheduled closures of tourist sites. Therefore, adequate insurance is advised.

Special cases: We hear you and we know sometimes other major forces can happen. Other major force cancellations might be discussed to reach an agreement. A verification of the reason why the tour was cancelled will be requested.

Refund policy

Cancellations more than 60 days before the tour: We won’t keep more than our expenses. If we have already bought tickets, and the monument/museum does not refund us any €, we will keep the total cost of the expenses and we will refund you the rest. Other transportation costs may have already been paid, if we can not get a refund, this expenses won’t be refunded. If we haven’t bought anything yet, a 100% of the amount will be refunded (except credit card fees and bank transfer fees).

Cancellations less than 30 days before the tour: We book and pay tickets, transportation, radioguides systems and a tourist guide in advanced. If we can not get a refund of this expenses, they won’t be refunded. If we can get a % of refund of the expenses, this will be refunded to you (except credit card and bank transfer fees). A 50% of the rest (our benefit) will be kept as a cancellation fee. The other 50% will be refunded (except credit card fees and bank transfer fees).

Cancellations less than 48h before the tour: No refund. We hear you and we know sometimes other major forces can happen. Other major force cancellations might be discussed to reach an agreement. A verification of the reason why the tour was cancelled will be requested.

No-shows: No refund. If the client hasn’t shown up or made contact with us via the tour guide telephone provided in the booking form within 20 minutes after the booked starting time, we’d consider it a no-show and no refund will be given. Clients booking an airport pick-up tour must contact us ASAP if their airplane is delayed or cancelled.

Cancellation of part of the total booked services: If you booked several services and you need to cancel part of them, we will apply the above policies only to the cancelled services. If the cancellation takes places less than 48h before the service date, no refund will be given.

*The client will take care of any costs/commissions required for the refund transfer.
